Blocking and Unblocking Users/Contacts in the Android Version

Blocking Users in the Android Version of iGap

As you do not want to receive any messages from a specified contact or even have trouble with an annoying user, you can interrupt her/his connection with yourself by using a great feature provided in iGap.

In the Android version of iGap, you can reach this result in two ways:

In the first path, after entering the profile info page of the required contact/user and tapping the icon of three dots on the top right corner of the page, tap “Block User” among the options. Hereby, the blocked contact/user cannot send you any messages and/or see your profile picture and last seen no longer.

In the second path, you can enter “Settings” section,

Then choose “Privacy and Security”,

And tap “Blocked Users” at last.

On this list, there are all blocked users’ names; but if you want to add another contact to this list, tap the + icon at the top right corner of the screen and choose the wanted contact among the contact list.

Unblocking Users in the Android version of iGap

If you follow all the steps in the first path to block users described previously, you can return the specified contact/user’s connection to yourself again by tapping “Unblock User” on the main chat page. Besides, you can enter her/his profile info page and choose “Unblock User” by tapping the icon of three dots on the top right corner of the screen.   Even you can go the contact info page and by tapping the three dots icon, again tap the “unblock user” option to finalize unblocking.

Or if you have made any contact blocked by following the second path, enter “Settings” section,

And choose “Privacy and Security” after that,

Then tap on the “Block List” to see the blocked users, hold your finger for one second on the blocked user’s name and confirm your sureness in returning her/his connection to you again by tapping “OK” shown on the message in order to unblock.
